VOLT Strategies, LLC is a government affairs and strategic advisory firm specializing in legislative advocacy at the state and local levels. With nearly 15 years of combined experience operating inside Indiana's legislative and regulatory environment, we represent clients before the Indiana General Assembly, state agencies, and executive branch leaders — navigating the intersection of policy, politics, and implementation.
Beyond lobbying, we provide strategic planning, economic development advisory services, association management, and high-level communications support. We have represented clients across local government, healthcare, energy, financial services, transportation, private business, nonprofits, alcohol and tobacco, gaming, and other highly regulated industries.

Sydnee Cseresznyes
Founder & President
With nearly a decade of experience in public affairs, Sydnee has managed large and complex legislative portfolios and successfully advocated across a wide range of industries, including healthcare, energy, local government, financial institutions, transportation, private business, nonprofits, alcohol and tobacco, and gaming. Her work spans tax and fiscal policy, regulatory reform, economic development, and state-local government dynamics.
She is particularly recognized for her ability to navigate highly regulated environments and translate complex policy issues into practical, results-driven strategy. Sydnee brings a disciplined, strategic approach to advocacy — grounded in relationships, preparation, and execution.
Sydnee holds a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Public Affairs from Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI).
She currently serves on the board of Overdose Lifeline and as Treasurer of the Hamilton County Visitor and Convention Commission. She is an alumna of the Indiana Leadership Forum and Hamilton County Leadership Academy. A longtime Hamilton County resident, she now lives in Westfield with her daughter, Violet.
Outside of work, Sydnee is an avid traveler and national park enthusiast.
Vanesa Reyes
Government Affairs & Strategic Programs Manager
Prior to joining the firm, Vanesa spent three years at the Indiana House of Representatives, serving in both legal and legislative capacities for multiple elected officials. In these roles, she worked across a broad range of policy areas — with particular depth in criminal justice and public safety — while supporting bill development, amendment drafting, committee preparation, constituent communications, and stakeholder coordination. Her experience inside the legislative branch provides clients with practical insight into how policy is shaped, negotiated, and advanced.
Vanesa is skilled at translating complex policy issues into clear strategy and actionable guidance. She supports legislative research, regulatory monitoring, stakeholder engagement, and strategic planning initiatives across the firm’s diverse client portfolio.
She earned her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Indiana University Indianapolis in 2023.
Outside of work, Vanesa enjoys reading, baking, and traveling.
